walking through the times by postcards
I was out for a walk at Gramedia bookstore in Java Mall Semarang. I’m very glad to find some postcards with pictures of old. Even though I know that postcards is not an ancient post but the picture is displaying genuine from the 1930’s or even older than that. The pictures that I found in between cigarette advertising,
advertising cookies, bike ads, the brand of a woven fabric (maybe), and even employment ads! Apparently all the drawing is a collection of someone who named Agus Leonardus. On the back are listed: “collection of original image”, or “redesign” or “redesign and recoloring” AGUSLEONARDUS. It also stated that agusleonardus@hotmail.com email address.
These are some postcards that I bought. All are very nice! And I learn from part of history. It is a big finding.
